Zelda came to the local shelter in Valentine, NE as a stray. She and Missy
shared a kennel and were fast friends from then on. Our best guess is that Zelda
is an English Pointer/Lab mix. She is very loving, well mannered and playful.
She and Missy are great housemates, as both like to keep a clean home. No
messes, not even a speck of dust due to those waggin tails! Zelda has a smile as
wide as the Nebraska sky! You can't help but fall in love with her outgoing
personality and " so happy to see you" greeting. Zelda is demure around her
feline friends. We'll even go as far to say that she ignores them once she's
given a nose sniffing greeting. Zelda would be a great companion for that
special someone! Zelda is now being fostered here in Minnesota, along with
Missy. They are both living in a home with several other dogs and a cat. She is
very mild mannered. Loves to be groomed. Very loving. Gets along with dogs and
does fine with the cat. She is playful, too. She and her best friend, Missy,
love to play. Zelda has also started her obedience training, and she walks very
nicely on a leash. In fact, a service dog group for the handicapped looked at
her and really liked her, but they felt she was too close to their 2 year old
