Rudy is a friendly playful dog. He is quite well trained. He
jumps into the laundry tub to get his feet cleaned after fun outside. He is an
active dog that is used to two walks a day. His daily walks are on paved trails
at a nearby park or off leash on his own property. He stays near by when walking
off leash on his property and has almost learned not to chase deer and to stay
out of the pond when there are geese and ducks in it.
He probably could be trained to hunt, (according to BWBR's contract, training
cannot include electronic devices of any kind). Rudy knows most commands like
come, sit, stay, wait, and stay home, as well as lots of other words of general
communication. Since he has been raised without children, he would be better off
in a family without them, even though he has played with the neighboring kids.
Rudy's owner is experiencing severe health issues and is no
longer able to keep Rudy. He is in a very temporary foster home at the moment. He is stressed from
his owner's illness and needs tons of TLC and a forever home. Even though he is
well trained, he loves structure and rules so he knows his boundaries. He hasn't
been raised around small children; he has been around older kids.
Rudy has been neutered, Up To Date on vaccines and Micro chipped.
