Emma is a darling, sweet girl who came from an abusive home. She was kicked to
the street when she was just a wee pup. During her life on the streets, she
endured unkindness from humans and had to scavenge in order to survive.
It took us two days in -19 degree temperatures to capture her, as her fear of
humans kept her running from the arms which would save her. Emma is beginning to
emotionally heal in her foster home. She is still fearful of sudden movement and
when her foster family takes her for walks, just the sound of a shoe scraping
along the sidewalk, causes her to freeze in fear.
Emma gets along well with her foster family's cats and dog. She remains a quiet
girl and rides well in a vehicle.
Her foster family did catch her running and playing in the snow with joyful
abandon the other day, so she is beginning enjoy life as a young puppy should.
UPDATE from Emma's Foster Mom:
Have I told you that Emma likes to talk. She especially talks in the morning,
says "good morning" of course, and will talk anytime we have been gone.
Absolutely adorable, and it's not your average bark. I will have to try to
capture it. Just part of her charming personality. Emma has a quiet beauty I
appreciate and love.
Emma is Spayed, Current on shots, Dewormed and Health Checked.
